Riding Clubs!!

Think it depends on the RC and what they offer. I joined a local one mainly to save on entry fees, they didnt offer anything else but there is one nearby that does xc lessons, team events etc.
 
I'm in a really friendly one and everyone is so supportive. We get lessons for around £15 each for 4-6 in a class max,costs maybe a little more for famous trainers. The entry fees are v much at a reduced cost and i def think the membership is worth it. You get to go on the teams if you want and compete for the club. Give it a go!
 
Mine's excellent so I think they're worth joining. Friendly and supportive and everything at ours is priced sensibly from rallies to show classes to annual camp. And they organise a good range of events and welcome input from members. Always had great instructors on rallies and at camp etc (many home grown and trained talent from within the club itself). We pay £12-£15 for rallies with 4 people in them. And sometimes you get there and there's only 2 of you turned up so a bargain at that point!
