Can anyone recommend me a lightweight waterproof coat that I can ride in without turning into a sweaty, melting mess please.

Sorry, I was so busy checking out your previous posts I completely forgot to thank you for the advice. Very useful and I shall certainly be steering clear of specialised riding coats and definitely checking out the local outdoor stores.
