Riding during today's England match

I wish. We've got the (step) kids this weekend so I will have to be a good girlie and wave a big hand around whilst cheering on the lads and ride later - at least it will be cooler then!!!

Yes, I'm off out for quiet hack - too hot for anything else! Fingers crossed for Egland though. Think they do better when I'm not watching!

I went outside to tack Belle up and she was already sweating so I decided to leave it and try again a bit later. Looks like we are going to lose the football terribly anyway so hopefully everyone will go home quietly when the match is over and we can try then.

It would have been the perfect time but it just didn't seem fair when she was already so hot (even when she had been stood in the shade).

Went out with a friend on the two cobbies for 2 hours round the farm on a hack :D Fun fun fun! Hairy did his first few little XC jumps bless him.

Then gave a jump lesson on the pony :) And then let someone borrow my horse to take out on a hack and have just got in now :D

All in all, a lovely day :)

And for the footy....I honestly couldn't care any more or any less. I'm really patriotic :p

Hah, same as me! Now everyone can put their annoying England flags away and can stop banging on about the sodding football. :p

I really did want to ride today but I made the right decision not to as Belle was already so hot. Did tack her up though as instructor says we need to do it everyday. I was knackered just after that!! Perhaps a nice hack tomorrow morning... *ponders*

we did our second gentle lunge session ever, only had a few strops, so a very proud mum. Then showers all round...... and relief at the footie news.

I rode my 3yr old out of the yard for the first time (a very short walk) during the footie match, thought it would be quiet and as soon as we got out the yard 3 cars passed us  but he was good :)
