Personally I find people at the shop either fit champion or charles owen!

I would highly recommend Charles Owen; they're extremely helpful people if you do encounter a problem.

I have just brought the Champion Vent Air Skull and I love it!! It's so comfy! I wanted the CO one because i like the colours etc but it didnt fit.

I'd go for the Ventair, I've had both the peaked and skull version and they are fab hats, the comfiest I've worn and that's a fair few- I tried a lot of hats when looking for one that prevented me getting headaches when I rode and the Ventair has really impressed me, no more headaches at all, fits like a glove too.

firstly - you are VERY lucky to have a choice !!!

i went to a big tack shop and tried on over 10 skull caps. 1 fits - and it still pushes my glasses down on the back of my ears which is what i dont want as its slightly painful!!

although the 3rd one you have shown the gold one did 'fit' , and i loved it was about to buy it, a senior fitter then came and looked at it and deemed it was not 100% perfect so im glad i didnt get that and that the usual hat fitter decided to get a 2nd opinion.

I would choose a vented hat over a traditional type any day - so much more comfortable. I have ended up with a hat that isnt vented, so in the summer i will search again for something vented for hot days but my CO pro skull is fine for Xc which is what i wanted it for.

The only thing i dont like about the HS1 is aesthetically i think the harness looks fab on some people, but can be a bit much on some others. I have a big head and tried one on and it just looked stupid - far too much going on.
