Riding hats and dry skin!

Does anyone else suffer from dry skin on their foreheads from sweating in their riding hats? My forehead now looks like a 90 year olds, I even cut my fringe back in to try and give it a bit of a barrier but to no avail. I put so much moisturiser on it but it still peels like bu99ery.

Any tips for stopping this?

maybe change the padding on the hat (if poss) or put some cotton across it. sounds like its more like your a touch allergic to it

Have you tried those pads that you can stick into your hat? When I was riding I had started to use them and because I changed them each time I think it helped.

My forehead does this sometimes and I have found applying E45 morning and night works well to stop it reocurring

I use these for the same reason as I also get dry itchy skin. My OH asks me if I am wearing my hat panty liners

I use these as I have very sensitive skin and come out in spots etc if I dont change it reguarly, must be a sweat thing!
