riding hats

I want to buy a new hat for driving (horses, not cars) and OH needs one as well for backstepping. We would like to try them on before we buy. I like the look of the caldene lumos but of course we will end up with the one that fits.
So is there a shop we can go to with lots of stock and choice between London - Birmingham - Oxford - Cambridge?

I wear the harry hall legend velvet covered hat with a peak for carriage driving, good for blocking out the sun and its really comfy hat.

Thanks Wizzy. My OH has a very round head, and quite big too, so I'd like to take him to a shop with a fair amount of stock so he can try lots on. If I bought on the interweb we would be sending hats back for months.

Have you got a Robinsons equestrian near you? I went to my one near Manchester on the M6. I tried on all the styles including skull caps before deciding on this one but bought it off interweb in the colour I wanted.
