So planning ahead for a riding holiday next July for my daughter who will be aged 17 by then and me. I figure if we book I can pay off in instalments between now and then.

Requirements are-

1) Don’t mind in this country or maximum 2.5 hr flight away
2) suitable of competent novices so walk, trot and canters over nice terrain but nothing too technical
3) decent accommodation and food

That’s it really, hit me up with your best ideas for a fun filled 5-7 days for us!

There are several good holiday companies - I've been with In the Saddle and Equestrian Escapes and in Wales, Freerein that do holidays from 2-6 days.

Have a good chat with one of the riding holiday companies. Be honest about your ability & expectations & let them guide you.
I ended up booking a holiday that I didn't initially think I was competent enough for, but the staff often have first hand experience of the holidays & can tell you exactly what they are like

Daughter has been on a few and she says it’s cheaper to go abroad even with the flight costs.
