Riding Holidays - The Ridgeway or Wales

So a couple of friends and I think it would be lovely to take our horses on holiday maybe September time and as we would only be able to go for three or four days I was thinking the Ridgeway would be a good place to go - we are in Devon - the riding here is not as idyllic as you think it might be!! So - anyone with ideas as to where to stay? We would like preferably self catering - hot tubs etc. (with copious amounts of wine of course for the evenings), be great to have the horses onsite as well. Or are there any other amazing places to go where its mostly off road with loads of cantering tracks etc. - Wales etc?

Many years ago we rode along The Ridgeway. Plenty of fabulous bridleways alongside the racehorse galllops. Stayed at a farm in Upper Lambourn with livery.

I love the ridgeway, we were close enough to be able to box up there a few times and ride it.
