2.circles(various sizes)
3.figure of eight
4.sepentines

please give some ideas i woiuld love to try some:)

Put on some music :)
Then spirals, turn on the forehand, link things together. Remember to stop and let your pony think every so often ;)

What about downloading some dressage tests and learning them, may help give your sessions some structure.

On the right rein, do a half circle to the centre line starting at F. Once on the centre line, head straight for B. You can then do a second half circle to the centre line once you get to M, again head back to B once you've completed the half circle.

Try it in walk first, then progress to trot, changing diagonal at B. It can also be done in canter, again changing canter lead at B. it's actually quite tricky because everything happens quickly in canter because the movement is quite small.

Have you tried leg yeilding?

Or lots of transitions, but keeping count of the steps. So you trot a circle and do three canter strides as you cross the centre line, then back to trot to finish the circle.

I used to just play about, so on a normal serpentine, you can canter the 'bends' and walk the 'straights' and try not to get any trot as you move from walk to canter.

Also work long and low for a bit.

Could you introduce some lateral work?

Leg yielding, inside flexion leading to shoulder in? Extending and collecting the gaits?
All this makes you and the horse think and work.

:)
