Riding in a thunderstorm :S

Okay tomorrow I set off on a 100 mile charity ride along the south downs way.

So with thundery showers lately, I'm wondering what to do if it starts thundering and lightenining?

Being the south downs its mainly all gonna be on hills and things so quite high. Lacey doesn't care for thunder ect but I don't wanna get struck!

I do know lightening can be extra dangerous cos of the horses' having metal shoes ... I wouldn't risk it myself
