Im not a dressage person but its been suggested a VSD saddle may suit my horse better than a gp as its less forward cut.
I probably ride slightly short if anything- Is it worth a try or will I struggle! ;)

I have got one - I would have loved a true dressage saddle but my horse is far too wide for me to get my legs long enough. If you ride slightly short you might find the knee rolls not far enough forward but it could be good for your seat if you can get to grips with one. Will suit your horse better than a GP if he has big shoulders, a working hunter saddle is similar and might be worth thinking about as well. Can you not find someone with one you can try? I don't know where you are but you are welcome to come and sit in mine if you are anywhere near N E Shrops.

I have one too for the same reasons. I prob ride flat better than I jump in it ;) although I can take the blocks/rolls off as velcro if I want shorter stirrups just not all that helpful when my position needs work anyway :D
