Hi guys,

OH and I are off to Cornwall for a week soon, and I'd love to ride while I'm down there. Can anyone recommend a good riding centre? We're staying in St Ives, but will have the car so can travel. OH is not horsey, but likes walking so it would be good if it could be somewhere where he can go for a nice walk while I ride.

Thanks in advance.
Liz :)

went on a beach ride and a hack there and if you say you're experience they defo wont put you on a riding school plod- I had a 5yo ISH!! was so much fun, really recommend them and the staff were all friendly

I can recommend the Goose Barton stables. So friendly and I rode a lovely big gelding called Coral (!). Had a lovely canter up the winding woods _ we were there in Spring and spent the hour or so after my ride covered in baby lambs, the owners let us get in the barn with them and they were clibing everywhere! I would definitely go back!

Can't remember the name but I've ridden twice at a stables in Newquay, thundering gallops across that huge beach on really nice, not typical riding school nags, wonderful!
