Hi guys

I’m a long-term member of the HHO, but my previous name was too obvious and it felt weird. I couldn’t change it sadly so I’ve got a different account :)

I’m going on a little holiday to Jersey next week and thinking I may enjoy a hack out at some point. The internet isn’t offering much info, so I’m coming to your collective brain!

Does anyone know of any places in Jersey that offer good guided hacks that are a bit more ‘go than woah’?

Also looking for general recommendations too - I’ve hired a car and am travelling alone so have a pretty free schedule for water sports and walking.

Thanks!

I havent been over for ages, Haie Fleurie used to be good with great hacking on beach as well woodland etc.
There was also Le Claire too.
That said, I've no idea if they are still there as this was 20 years ago, sorry.

Worth digging about on Facebook and Google etc to see if any recent reviews?

Fab thank you - they looked more like just riding schools rather than offering any hacking from what I saw but I’ll send them a messages. :) I’m doing some proper planning tonight so will do some digging!

Can't help with the riding, as I'm from Guernsey but would imagine it will be riding schools only but they should do beach hacks etc.

If you get a chance to head over to sark then definitely do - I know they now do boat trips over which they didn't used. It's a beautiful island and you may want to book a carriage ride, as well as hire a bike.
I would think a rib trip round jersey would also be good.

Am I the only one who read this as 'riding in a jersey'... and really wondering where this was going..

This makes so much more sense.

I think I need more sleep!
