Hi everyone :)
I'm actually a bit of a lurker here so I really hope it's ok I just post a little question?
I've just moved to Bristol this week and having been riding at least twice a week all summer and almost every day beforehand before going travelling, I'm now a bit stuck.
I don't have a car and live fairly central which I know will pose problems.
But I was wondering if you could recommend anywhere I can get a quick fix via public transport (slight inward groan at the thought of horse smell on a bus but hey ho!)?
A car maybe in the pipeline but I walk everywhere at the moment which suits me fine.
Any ideas greatly appreciated although I've not got my hopes up.

I used to ride at Kingsweston Stables when i was there at uni, this was about 8 years ago. It was fine for hacking and low level schooling considering it is in Bristol. It is on a bus route but i suppose it depends on where it is in comparision to you. The website is www.kingswestonstables.com.

I've been in Bristol for 5-6 years now and am horseless also want my daughter to have a few lessons before getting a pony as she has not ridden much since us moving to Bristol. I have to say I have found Rs pretty poor I don't know if that's cause I used to work and teach on a few before moving to bristol but yes am very shocked at the lack of decent ones. Saying that the link posted above someone I work with has started riding there not horsey lady and describes everything to me about lessons and they do sound quite good :)
