Riding in the rain..

Anyone else find it strangely exciting??!
I chanced it earlier with no coat because it was so humid, and on the way back to the yard it tipped down! I found myself laughing as I was trotting very fast back! I think because there was nothing I could do and was getting soaked I just found it a bit funny/exciting...am I weird?!

No! One of the best rides me and my OH had was in the pouring rain last summer. It was boiling hot, but because of the rain the horses stayed cooler and we just had loads of fun.

I love riding in the rain. But only if I am covered from head to toe in waterproofs, for some reason I really look forward to it!

Oh good, Im not the only one! It was really humid so it was nice to feel the rain on me...dont think horsey was too impressed tho

I love riding in the rain, it gives me a buzz and wakes J up. Just as well as we live in scotland.

I have always loved riding in the rain! I took my 8 yr old daughter out on a hack on saturday morning and it absolutely hammered down at one point! When we got back to the yard she told me she loved it and could we always hack in the rain!

Not too keen as my tack turns into wood afterwards and it's a pain to rug up. I do, however, love putting on my barbour and wellies and taking my dog for a walk in the rain. It means you don't meet many people and it's good for clearing your head.
