Riding in winter, i'm so fed up

I haven't been able to ride for about 3 months now because at Mossburn there's just too much to do because the horses and cows come into the two big barns. They are deep littered but still add a lot of time and work.
And some people seem to develop a lot of illnesses or family members to visit in the winter

The couple of days when we have gotten finished soon enough, the weather has been utter rubbish.
I probably won't get to ride again until late spring and it's annoying me!
My friend just txt me asking if i want to go on a hack at his riding school coz his cousin can't go anymore but it's on friday and i can't go

Riding is like payment for me for my work and whilst i would never even think of not going because i can't ride, it gets a bit tiresome, and the past couple of weeks there has only been me and another 2 people if we're lucky and it's been non-stop hard work all day.
Sorry, needed to rant! lol.

Well the nights will be getting lighter now so maybe you won't have to wait as long as you think. Don't you ever get days off?

yeah but they don't go back out till the weather is warmer which won't be a while yet and getting there just to ride is a problem coz it's 20 minutes away and i need to get my dad to give me a lift.
I'm only there on a Sunday but i'm at school during the week and work on a saturday so it's near impossible to get up just to ride.
i will survive lol. I'm just gettin aware that i won't be able to ride when i leave so my 8/9 months of riding time is slipping away

Spare a thought for me too.
I bought a paint mare about 6 weeks ago.
I had to buy tack and I didn't get that sorted until 2 weeks before the Holidays and now we have snow up to the fenceline in my school.
I am so looking forward to riding my new horse.

We seem to be in for a doozy of a winter this year so I will be lucky if I get down to riding before May.
