Does anyone know of a good instructor in the Aberdeen area that doesn't cost a fortune? Would be looking at an hours lesson, every 2 weeks maybe, in the Milltimber area.

Used to use Mo Payne but then she cut down her hours and then had Claire Sinclair but she quit and haven't had an instructor in about 2 years! We're both feeling lazy and unmotivated in this weather and we need someone to get us fit and ready for all the competitions in the spring!

IF you can travel to Loanhead/Fountain/Ladyleys you have access to many good local instructors via the riding clubs Findon/NERC and Buchan that you could try in the training sessions and share the cost and motivation with others?. If you have no transport several of these will travel to you I'm sure, have a look on the riding club websites for some contact details. Sally at Oldfold can't be too far away?

You could hack to Oldfold from yard but poor M might have a fit if he thinks he's going back there

tho probably wouldn't recognise place.
Seriously tho would be a good option and if you get Sally good. You could ask if she'll come to you don't know if she does outside teaching ?
Theres Ian don't know how full he is at mo tho.
Sally has friend Kirsty(nice person) who teaches ,used to teach at Oldfold for a bit and Sally says teaches along same lines as herself.

Thanks Pols but I left Hayfield and Oldfold because of Sally and there's no chance of her teaching us lol!

Thanks Tequila, maybe Kirsty might be an option. Me and Sally do not have a history of getting on well and Oldfold was the final straw (you know that whole story I'm sure!)

I got a text from Sharon with Beau and she gave me the number of an intsructor called Peter. Anyone heard of him or know if he's good? I don't mind being yelled at if it'll give us the motivation to actually work hard!

No haven't BUT that doesn't mean he's not any good. And have used Ian for so long as he's fit for the hormonal gobby teenager that is my daughter

Like his honesty tho he's mellowed a bit with age

Sometimes his honesty is not everyones cup of tea tho and he takes no nonsense from horse or rider (tho think he is fair to horse)
Only thing don't have Kirsty's number you would have to get it from Sally
