Having not ridden for the last 9 months due to a horrible pregnancy, Im looking to start having lessons on my lad. To regain some of my lost confidence and to get him and me in shape. He isn't the easiest of rides and hates schooling he would be happy to go for the odd hack and just slob in the field if he could get away with it.

I've been hacking out since february and now I'm back in the swing of it its time to find a freelance instructor.

Can any one recommend any body or is any one a instructor? I'm looking to have a hours lesson once a fortnight.

I am actually quite scared at the thought of it as I havent had a lesson for about 3 years.

thanks in advance

If it is confidence and enjoyment that you are looking for I can recommend Julia Fisher - she is great at explaining things in both human and equine terms and nevers rushes off at the end of the lesson unlike other instructors I have had :)
I am sure you will be back to pre baby state before long, I enjoy riding and horse time even more after having my girls xx

[removed] taught me to ride many moons ago and she was fab then, I dont know if she still teaches but if she does I can recommend her!

Have fun and you have my sympathy about your pregnancy!! I have just been through a horrid one too but the babies are worth the effort!

Xx
