Looking for recommendations on riding leggings that won't require me to take out a mini-mortgage!

Fire away :)

There are so many to choose from my winter favourites are kerrits and Musto, for cheaper versions I buy primark fleece lined.

Also look on eBay at toggi sock bottoms breeches ( they are pull ups)
I have 4 pairs and they are very comfy and often £30 or less

I own Noble (v good but winter are v warm) , Kingsland (summer only) Pikeur....For Horses and Toggi oh and 1 pair of winter horze

The winter Horze are FAB and then the winner by far are the For Horses. These are at Country Frog and Hope Valley and come in summer and then a thin fleeced lined...not as think as most winter. They are so comfy and coped well with 6 hours a day riding on holiday lately.
