RIGHT well i had this horse for a lesson who i have ridden a bunch of times before, in the lesson before mine we sat and watched and the person wasnt moving her very much so i thought "oh great she is on go slow today and i would have to use whip" well...i didnt need to use it at all...she went MAD.
warming up i had to try and get her in an outline and she did nicely, walk and trot..no problems so far.
cantering one at a time from front to back...thats when it got interesting, FIRST the other horse in front went and i was trotting round, my horse got wound up and when i asked her to go she did this MASSIVE buck then canters on in her weird way.
so we changed rein after every one went.
guess what? my turn again and she prats about threatening to go up! then bucks a few times and starts cantering on spot so i make her go forward for out canter.
aannndd then its jumping, starts of okey going over poles and getting striding, then it goes up and we have on our final turn a biggish spread at end of triple...
okay so going in, jumps first and refuses BIG TIME at second almost chucking me off. Turn around and as im turning she decides to bronk!
THEN on second try she has a buck going in, then refuses first, then i kick on cos its only little and she can step over...so she reared!!! so i turn her towards it and she goes up again!!!
FINAL try as spread at end and i ask her to trot as we turn to face jump..so the idiot rears even bigger again ¬¬ and refuses the first jump and has a big buck when turning.
teacher took back pole down so it was just a normal upright at end and pony goes STRAIGHT over with no fuss!
okay i know its long but all this was within an hour lesson...and the last was in about ten mins XD
im done now thought yo all might wanna have a laugh at my...eventful lesson xD
and proof that not all riding school horses are brain dead lifeless personality deprived nags as some idiots have told me in past ¬¬
