Riding near Camber Sands Pontins

We're going to Pontins at Camber Sands this summer (yay! never been before! :D )
and was wondering if there are any riding schools nearby either for hacking or lessons as my ned is staying home! I have never been to that part of the country before so don't know any places around there so any recommendations would be good :) Thank you!
 
Iden grove riding school is the nearest one to Camber. It's about 6 miles I would think from Pontins. Don't know if they offer beach rides or not though. There is a yard up the road from Pontins which offers holiday accomodation for you and your horses and dogs but don't know if they loan out their own horses to riders to use for the beach or not.
 
Nothing horse related, but take some baking trays and cooking utensils!! The kitchens are tichy, which is fine, but there's rarely any trays. Also, get into the chalets first before buying electric, there's always some on the meter still and swapping once purchased can be tricky. Iv been 3 times with dancing, and although its no 5*, its good fun.
 
Oooooo, thanks for the tips! My husband used to go in the 70's and early 80's when he was a little boy and he reckons it's probably not changed that much since he went. He did say though we'd probably be eating out most times but will bring some trays and my fav utensils too.
 
Exactly right spottyappy, we where so nackered by the end of the night sleeping was not an issue! They have done up 90% of the normal chalets, the bathrooms and kitchens have been updated and everything's been painted. Good luck finding riding, I would love to go flying down the beach.
