Does anyone know how to find out if it is ok to ride on a particular beach?

OH wants to box my horse up tomorrow and take us to the beach to ride. We were up there on on Friday and there was no mention on any signs.

I came home and found the website for the beach which also said nothing about it.

A friends husband works for the council and said she would ask him but it might not be for a few days, just wondering if there was another way?

If there is nothing to say you can't then I would go for it

Around here you are allowed on the beach for certain months of the year - i think it is March 31st-October 1st that you are meant to stay off it but I know lots of people box up mid week and continue to go in the summer

I hope you go and have a great time

Only bit of advice is try and go when there is very little breeze because the slightest hint of a breeze and all the kite surfers fill the water and fly their canopies which can be scary for nervous sorts! (like mine!)

LOL Thanks! Im so worried about getting into trouble though!!!

When we lived in NI the beach was on our doorstep and I used it as to school most days. Havent been on one since.

V came from a beach so I reckon he might like it!!

why dont you ring the local council yourself? we are only alowed to ride on the beaches round here at certain times. They sound be able to let you know.
