Hi,

I want to take my boy to the beach as have not been in years, I used to go to Camber but wondered where anyone else goes and what were the rules eg when are you allowed to ride on the beach??

Im from Maidstone, Kent so dont want to travel miles really as it will be in the evening that I would go.

Thanks

Don't quote me on this, but i think beaches are only open for horses 6 months of the year, which i think ate November to April, when they are not as busy with tourists etc

Part of our beach stays open all year round for horses which is fantastic. Check with your local council and they will be able to tell you where and when you can ride as it is different in each coastal district. It's a good idea to check with the coastguard or lifeguards to see if there is any tidal danger or soft sand. We have a couple of deep sand sinks where horses have come a cropper in the past!
