Hi am hoping to visit the Pennine bridleway this summer and camp/stay overnight but wanted to make sure the riding is worth it. It would be more the Derbyshire, buxton area. Just want to know what the riding is like i.e. are there many oppurtunities for a canter/gallop or is the terrain too hard/rocky for this. Any posts much appreciated.

it covers a lot of area so the terrain varies, obviously :). I used to live pretty much on a section of it, not the section you speak of though and yes, there were ample opportunities for a hooly where I was (hopefully someone from Buxton/Derbyshire will be on ):D
