I've always wanted to do this. Is it possible/allowed. Is there anywhere nearby to park with a trailer. Looking for some logistics advice please. I've Googled but all I can find is local riding schools offering accompanied hacks on their own horses.

I suggest you contact the Park office and ask for the location and cost of horse box or lorry parking and a permitted date and time. I have twice ridden in the Park out of historical interest, but only from a riding school near the Park and not since 2015. The Hyde Park website suggests that horse riding is limited to those schools, and the Police and Military.
However, although I have not been myself, the yard where I now share occasionally takes a lorry with horses for their sharers to have a ride in Hyde Park, usually on a Bank Holiday Monday.
If you are taking your own horse you should be aware that the Park is often very crowded and part of the track is right next to heavy London traffic at Hyde Park Corner. I cantered when I rode there, but you should check on this as canter may now be restricted.
I dont want to put you off as I have been thinking of going back myself for a ride in the Park on Rotten Row before I finally get too old.

Busy isn't a problem - my horse loves busy. :) I thought it was just the arena that was restricted. But thank you, I will contact them to find out more.
