Hi All,

I am hoping to start taking my niece to riding lessons in the summer holidays (and then to continue taking her at least once a fortnight after that) and wondered whether anyone can recommend a good riding school in Kent please? She will be 8 next month and has had a couple of lessons a while ago but she is really keen to start riding "properly" (as she puts it!), which of course I am happy to encourage :) She can walk off the lead rein and has started rising trot.

Faversham, Canterbury, Ashford and surrounding areas would be good but I could take her further afield.

Thank you in advance!

Seafields riding stables - eastchurch isle of sheppey it's brilliant, Emma the riding instructor is great (teaches me on my horse) and has a great range of horses.

If it's not too far then the Alkham Valley Community Project just outside Dover is good. As well as doing riding and driving lessons for the disabled and able bodied they run 'own a pony' days twice weekly through the holidays.
