Riding Schools in Tadcaster/Church Fenton area?

Does anyone know of any decent riding schools in the Tadcaster area? Looking for a friend who has a 6yo daughter who wants to learn to ride. They're keen to take her but also very keen that she gets a chance to see the other side of horses too and not just turning up every week with pony already tacked up and ready to go etc . They understand that some of the 'hands on' stuff might not necessarily happen in week 1!! Any recommendations?

Hi, I'm from the Tadcaster side of York and the only ones I know of in the reasonably local area would be Naburn Grange and Jodhpurs at Tockwith, a couple of links if your friend is interested:-

Sicklinghall is a bit further away but very good, they get to do everything there - they used to get us to ride them bareback down from the fields - although don't think they'd do that now.....

There is one near castleford ~I think. I will try and remember what it is called but is a new one just opened. Indoor school too

thinking off the top of my head, there's Jodphurs at Tockwith, Naburn... at Naburn, Newthorpe which is near Sherburn, Westways which I *think* is at Thorner.. cant remember though. There's also Angel Livery at Wistow.
