Riding Schools near Edinburgh

My friends son (who is 4) has been in hospital recently and his illness has meant his balance and co-ordination is not as good as it used to be. It was suggested that horseriding would help him improve so I wondered if anyone could recommend any good riding schools in the Edinburgh area with some bombproof ponies. She lives near Portobello so the nearer there the better.

I don't know if Whiteloch in Macmerry is still in operation but worth a try.

There's tower farm or lasswade I know tower used to have a group of disabled people riding there so they may be able to help

The Drum RDA group at Gilmerton might be able to help.

Try an RDA there's one at the Drum and Muirfield. There's also Thornton Rose RDA at Rosewell. Otherwise there's all the usual riding schools, Harelaw, Lasswade, Tower, Appin, Seacliff and there's probably others I've missed
