ATM I have to spend at least one night a week in Newton Abbott.
My evenings are free from around 5pm so wondered if anyone could recommend a good riding school in the area. Instruction level would need to be above the normal walk trot canter type.
Alternatively somewhere with nice horses for an evening hack.
All suggestions appreciated. Getting bored with sitting in hotels

Hacking, you have Babeny and Shilstone Rocks both on the moors, lessons at Cheston EC at South Brent or Oaklands at Exeter, there is Finlake but I don't know their level of instruction, you could ring them, they're at Chudleigh. Oh, and Hayes Farm at Ideford, I think they're BHS approved livery yard but again unsure of the instruction. Sorry to not be of more help, we have lost quite a few RSs over the years, there was one at NA called Honeysuckle Farm but it's now the Mare & Foal Sanctuary... PM me if you'd prefer to 'chat' privately!
