Whats the best course of action... im in need of some lessons!

I do need a simpathetic instructor for the reason i am disabled, and i do end up in absolute agony after a schooling lesson due to the constant leg on leg off actions so on so 4th...but im breaking my youngster to ride and drive at the moment, and i dont want to spoil him so i need to get some lessons in!

Needs to be around clevedon area as dont have constant use of a car.

if a riding school i cant afford to be riding horses that are too strong, or not forward going, but must be cobby as a light weight tb i would be horrified to ride due to my weight (i am over weight primaraly due to my lack of mobility!)

i used to ride up nortings wood lane, and they now have one of my old loan horses funny enough, I am considering going here but they are not simpathetic to disabled riders, and my confidence isnt the best, as i will admit i am scared of falling off as the conciquences(sp) could mean i end up in a wheel chair. If this happens well it happens but i dont want to be put on a horse i cant trust and will flip

I know i have a youngster....before any one says anything, if he throws me off and i am chair ridden its my own dam stubborn fault :D

if you dont laugh you will cry as they say haha

I would have a look in the local small ads websites and see if you can find a local instructor to come out and help you with your youngster, instead of going to a riding school. I think that would be more beneficial for you and also would mean no travelling.

This is what i was thinking, although i dont want to put too much pressure on him as the plan is to lightly break him to ride, and turn away for 6-8 months. And then start properly, so will probably end up at a riding school at some point!
