Riding with a clicker

I've recently been riding with a clicker in my hand (attached to my wrist by a bungee) which is very effective in terms of training and a total pita in terms of holding onto it and the rein. Any great ideas for having the clicker instantly available but easy to hold? I've read about people attaching them to whips but I'm not sure how to go about that or if it would give instant-enough access... any suggestions gratefully received!

I use the same principal but use a verbal marker rather than a device.

Train to react to a click with your tongue

You have a perfect clicker with your tongue, no need to be juggling with anything in your hands.

I use a tongue click (very different sound to other tongue clicks, actually more like a ‘clok’), if needing to use an actual clicker perhaps attaching one to a neck strap somehow would work.
