I am thinking of returning to riding after being away from it for quite a few years. I have also had a knee replacement after damaging my knee while working with horses. Does anyone have any advice and how do they find riding.?
Thanks

I'm hoping you get lots of replies on this as been told I will be having knee relacement in a few years but am too younge (am in my 40s) at present but have had key hole surgery to keep me going. As long as I go to the gym regularly and work on muscles around the knee am ok. No probs riding and that includes horseball including picking up from floor. Main probs are running on hard ground is a no no and going up hill is fine but downhill painfull.
Hope you get back into riding and enjoy it
