Today I found that my horse has mud fever on her back two legs.
It isnt that bad, she isn't lame or anything and it just looks like mud and you cant see any of the scabs, you can just feel them so I think I've found it quite early. However when you feel them there are loads of bumps from the scabs and I'm treating it but I was wondering if it is okay to ride her?
The place where I ride are the fields and they are a bit wet but I was going to cake her legs in Johnson Oil before it to stop the moisture getting in, is that okay?
