I have two stallions one is a saint, but the other well he wants to 'do' anything and everything that moves. (yes I know he is a stallion what do I expect)
However he has to do a job and I want to make his life a little less stressful and keep condition on him.

So was wondering if anyone has tried RIG CALM on any of their stallions if so did it chill them out???:):o
 
We have to use it on one of our geldings, otherwise he tries to hump everything.

Takes the man edge off them definitely!
 
i used rig calm, went thru two buckets of it then weaned him off. mine is an andalusian 6yr old had just been castrated in spain before arriving with me and my 2 mares .. oops ... yes, it calmed him down, as in, waited until he was at the fence before getting an erection. i used to slap his todger with anything to hand, and sometimes that itself, and say ''away'' quite firmly ... this cured it more than anything, and would only have to say 'away' and he would back off. within a month he would just gently nicker at them. And at all times he lived next to mares with normal oak fencing but a wire of electric on top on metal arms .... enough to say hello and smell but high enough to stop a leap .. although he got zapped loads.. :(
 
Rig calm is amazing stuff :D
The horrid one was a stallion till he was 7 and when they did his special op they forgot to tell him :rolleyes: When I got him he was 8. He couldn't live with mares as he would mount them, riding out with mares sent him dolally, He stressed at the smallest change, started chewing all the fencing and he was a typical stallion to handle. Very nippy with a "make me" attitude. I put him on Rig Calm and he is much easyer to handle and ride. He's stopped getting so stressed and chewing the fencing to :)
I would deff recomed giving it a try. If it doesn't work for you I've heard coltish is very good to although I can't remember for the life of me who makes it. :)
