Av came in from the field one day in early Jan with a slightly inflammed region under her knee on inside forleg. No pain or lameness but after 2 weeks of it not really doing anything I had her scanned. She scanned completely clean with no soft tissue damage at all and the scan was particularly clear. Vet said ride her but keep it quiet for a couple of weeks which I have done. Leg is still occasionally warm and bigger then the other after she has been in, ie in the AM and in the evening after she has been in for a few hours.
Spoke to vet today again to ask advice, coz am fed up and frustrated with being worried- she said defo no soft tissue damage, v. unlikely for there to be bone damage as no pain or lameness whatsoever, maybe a splint ? but no pain. Decision has been made to crack on and do a bit more and see what happens. Av is 9 and also a wussy TB. Her legs have always blown up with any bruising whatsoever but it has been a while and filling/heat goes with work....so any ideas or similar stories?
