I'm still looking for a horse, 3 failed vettings later and many many horses ridden, I don't seem to be having any luck! I would be so grateful if you guys who always have an ear to the ground could help me out a bit with my search :) I'm off to college in September and I need a horse to take with me to do my BHSAI with. I go start college on the 6th September so prefferably need a horse before then, But I do have a backup plan if i fail to find a horse. A friend has very kindly offered me her ex-eventer to take for the first term or until I get sorted.
So here are the specifications if you're up for a challenge! ;)
15.3hh-16.3/17hh max (I'm short and stumpy)
5-10 y/o (Would consider 4 y/o if it was mature enough and had right temperament or an 11/12 y/o)
Good conformation
Potential to event/good allrounder
Some schooling on flat but I'm willing to bring on
Shows a promising jump (doesn't have to be a world beater, but at least a decent scopey jump)
If possible no hang-ups (I.E. previous colic, laminitis, lameness etc)
Must be currently in work (i just don't have the time to bring back to fitness)
Mares or geldings (I like both)
Doesn't have to be a good hacker (not really my scene)
Can have some recifiyable behavioural issues (I like a challenge -although those could be my damning words! ;) )
My budget is erm.. limited but i'm grateful to have the money and appreciate I'm a lucky person to even be in this situation to be able to buy a horse!
Price range £2500 to £5000 max.

I'd be so grateful if you could help me out, I really need some help atm after being let down several times. Cupcakes (a flavour of your choice) and cloudy lemonade for all! :D
