Right people, i have a point to make and need your help/pics

As some know, from previous post, i am looking for a new bit.

Was chatting at with horsey friends, saying i'd seen a few online but was thinking of trialling some first....

Que "friend" saying "oh good, maybe you will get a smaller one that will fit!"

Would like to point out that my dentist advised my bit is fine, not to wide or narrow and not to thick or thin, hence my post asking for help looking for such a specific size / type of bit....

I pointed this out to friend who is adamant her bit fits her horse correctly and that mine is to big, sooo, pics of a well fitting bit please, so i can SHOW her, i am right and she is wrong.

Also if you are reading this, you will know who you are, and i am right, so nananananan naaa

Tell her that with bits there is no black and white. For me a bit fits if the horse accepts it and is comfortable in it.
For my boy this means that no matter what bit he is in it's lower and wider than 'the BHS way' and I get told this all the time but couldn't care less as at the end of the day my boy is the one who looks happy and comfortable.

The only time I'd worry about fitting is if there is obvious discomfort.

As above with Koko, one of mine likes his bit nice and tight up wrinkly lips and preferably 1/2 inch too big, he fusses like no-ones business if it is supposedly 'correctly fitted', another one of mine if bitted (usually bitless) likes the bit just about in her mouth but in a snug length so she can hold it herself. I do have a normal pone who has his bit just right thou i.e the BHS one wrinkly in the corner and a finger either side - LOL

I know a pony who gets a sore mouth from being rubbed in the corners by his bit but his owner will not get a bigger one because the dentist says it fits! I'm sure the pony knows best but hey, ho!
