I'm new to here and am just about to put my rising 3 year old up for sale - sadly - I bred him myself and hadn't intended on selling him but life has somewhat got in the way and I have to go down to 1 horse from the 2 - rising prices, young children (which came along after the horse!) etc etc
Anyway - He is a nice boy and moves well - His father was Holstein and his mother polish warmblood x TB - so basically he is registered british warmblood. The only thing is he seems to still have a lot of growing to do and therefore I feel he will benefit from not being broken until the spring (his rising 4 year) - he was a July baby so is a little more backward than other 3 year olds but I feel by the autumn he will have caught up.
Anyway - He hasn't really done anything - he has been well handled - always in and stabled at night and out in the day and I'm just about to ask him to lunge a little this week just so that potential buyers can see him move
I am thinking of putting him up for £2,000 - I feel this is fair and actually if I had put him up a couple of years ago (with a better market) I probably would have asked more - with this I would be willing to take an offer (reasonable) - so it seems reasonable to me but my question really is - does it seem reasonable to you guys?
