Just looked at the Live scoring on the Hickstead website and seen that no jumping took place today in the International Arena because of the bad weather. This does not bode well, as the weather forecast is for yet more rain.
Have just received this message from Hickstead. Don't think I'll try asking why it should take 2 days to get the 1st lot up!
The results of the International arena will be on the internet, and also should be all updated by this evening.

oww well done Millie so sweet that kid!
Do you know if Amy Inglis was in it and if so how she got on!?
Sorry, I dont know - I only asked my friend (who was there) who had won. She couldnt even remember who came 2nd! She said there was 6 clears in the first round. Jessica Mendoza was placed but she couldnt remember any others..
This year is a huge disapointment for everyone. It must be like dreaming of playing at Wembley stadium in the FA cup final getting there and then end up playing in the car park. I am sure there will be riders, owners, sponsors, spectators, trade complaining. Hickstead is Hickstead.
Hickstead committed themselves to this show very early on to make sure people came as they (and showjumping) cannot afford to lose the show, especially with the Nations Cup being there and being watched by the world so I can understand their view that the show must go on regardless.
TBH there are many riders who do not go there unless they have a chance of horses being in the main ring even then some don't go because of the costs involved.
