Accabussi, Boo to his friends, was put to sleep this afternoon at the age of 15. He belonged to my best friend, and it was one of the most traumatic, emotional afternoons I have ever had to live through, although I know she absolutely did the best thing she could for him, and it was a peaceful and dignified passing for him, it is us who are left behind, who are weeping. Can I say a heartfelt thank you to everyone who has been so kind to respond to the posts I have made about this over the last few weeks. Sue x

RIP Boo xx

So sorry to hear about that, hope all went as well as could be expected, I'm sure your friend despite being very upset surely feels better than she would of done, if not for all your support and being there for her, must be upsetting for you also to see your friend so upset too.

(((hugs))) to you both.

It's hard for us that are left behind, but it is the kindest thing for the horse when they just can't do any more. Big hugs to you both x x

Be proud that your friend did absolutely the right thing by Boo. It is very easy to put things off to make ourselves feel better - to do the right thing for our animals is much harder for us. Thinking of you you bothx x
