RIP Ben (1982-2008) my horse of a lifetime!!

What an amazing life he had and you are so lucky to have had that partnership for such a long time. Hugs to you and Rest In Peace Ben you were an amazing horse x
 
So so sorry to hear this. He really was gorgeous wasnt he. At least it did not last for long. RIP Ben ((()))
 
So sorry 2 hear about Ben. It is truly the most awful thing in the world when your horse dies and especially harder as you had him for so many yrs. Altho at least u have the great memories of all the good times together.
 
Oh hun! I am so, so sorry for your loss!! I remember you posting about him and his weight - either last winter or the winter before. He's always been a credit to you and a very athletic beastie too. He was gorgeous and obviously very well loved - and like most horses like him, knew it too!

I am going to print off this post and keep all the truely lovely replies on it.
Thank you all so much old friends and new ones also) for the hugs, kind comments and nice things you have all said about Ben.
Maybe in a few months time I will be able to read them all again with a lighter heart.
