RIP Clyde

Similar thing happened to my 4 year old a few years ago - found him dead in the field, but no marks, no mud on his knees (so he had literally just gone over sideways), no marks from kicking out on the floor, no dung, no blood

I didn't bother with a PM, just put it down to a massive heart attack. Sorry you have had to go through something similar.

Similar to Weezy, I lost a mare due to foal in a fortnight three years ago. One minute she was fine, the next flat out with not a mark on the grass at all so she hadn't thrashed about. Again, we put it down to heart.

I'm sorry for your loss and like you, I found writing it down and the support from on here really did help.

OMG! I'm so sorry, what a dreadfull thing. This happened to my friends horse a couple of years ago they had a PM and it was a massive heart attack, all his organs had just stopped working. Big hug's to you. RIP Clyde xxx
