It does but it will take a while.
Whatever you do don't feel any guilt for not being there - she had a lovely life and a lovely owner who did all she could for her. That is what matters.

Oh no, so sorry for your loss, she was so beautiful! Please don't feel you abandoned her, you weren't to know who things would end up, and it sounds like she had a fabulous medical team around her. Such a sad time for you, I can only sympathise and hope I can do the right thing too when the time comes...

Everyone has been fantastic in all of this especially as it was so sudden.
I was thinking of getting a tattoo done but am wondering if this is a bit cheesy.

i was very fortunate to of had the pleasure of caring for coco she was a fantastic mare and loved so very much.
a mare with fight and great character.
yesterday was the hardest thing in my life been there to support coco to the end. but i wasnt going to let her down. love you so much coco.you ll neva be forgotten. always in my heart x

dont worry bout all i have done huni.its easier that ive sorted it as it makes me cope a bit better.like you the emotions are up and down like yoyo s.time will take time to heal.
we have fab memories of her and shes in our hearts.shes at peace in the big meadow above xx let her spirits soar high

hey huni.
its part of the grieving process im going through the what ifs and what we mite of been able to do and looked on the net.
she is at peace and need to face it that she was in pain.wel both make ourselves ill.
finding it hard on the yard as she was huge part of the yard and my crew of care to horses.
it will get easier im sure but at this time im not believing it.

its such a shame tha u have out such a warm hearted tribute to coco on here but in reality its false.if you dont contact the creamatorium asap ur horse that u so call love is going to end up in the bin, u really are a form of low crap in ur own form,not paying vets,not caring etc shame the people on here dont know you for who u really are,the kind messages above were sadly given to a waste of space

Why do this on a public forum? This is a totally unneccessary post and really should have been done privately, especially as you clearly know NMM in "RL". Why not just call her to discuss your concerns?

hi there thanx for your message on post,can see where ur coming from with the post butthe girl wont contact or recieve any contact a she has changed all contacts,
im angry that i helped her with her horse and gave her the chance to go home while i nursed her ill mare till the end. i made the call to the vet arranged it all n stayed with the mare until the transport.
nmm doesnt care as she hasnt maintained contact or contacted the distraught 15 yr old who helped me.
i hate people who use there horses asa fashionable status when clearly they dont care.
now the creamtorium is going to throw cocos ashes in the bin due to nmm pathetic ignorance,i now have to work out how to drum up the funds to give coco a proper resting place not thebin
