So very sorry to see Do It for Dalkey never made it back to the winners enclosure ,where he so deserved to be, at Ayr yesterday. Apparently he collapsed before he got there.
I remember his dam, that fine mare Dalkey Sound.
My sympathies to his owner, Lucinda Russell, EKW and all connected to the horse, I am so very sorry for you all
RIP Do It For Dalkey x

I've just seen this.

Thanks guys x

Ranger was a wonderful horse and a pleasure to be around. There wasn't a bad bone in his body. His owner, Geoff, bred him and both he and his wife are distraught but comforted in the fact that it was quick and he died doing what he loved and doing what he did best - bringing a smile to the faces of all around him. The lass who looked after him, Erin, rode him every day since he had been backed and he was a huge part of her life. She still has SBN to look after but Ranger was always the favourite.

Rest well Ranger xXx We owe you everything xXx
