Sad news about the death of actress Elizabeth Taylor.
But maybe some good films will be re-shown? National Velvet is one of my favourites

ahh how sad. I loved Elizabeth Taylor. She was most of the most beautiful women when she was younger. RIP Elizabeth.

Funny enough for a bloke my age - she never did much for me on a personal level but with Burton she was fantastic in Taming of the Shrew.

Never did like National Velvet because it's so ridiculous and merely a Hollywood platform for her.

The remake in International Velvet was much better though still full of Tinseltown tripe - Tatum O'Neal was a beautiful young girl whom I saw ( long with about 200 other people and as many trucks ) as my horse's yard was used for the set - the scene took all day to shoot and if you blink watching the film, you'll miss it!
