My friends gorgeous horse Jack who was the subject of the "kissing spine" and "Dangerous horse" post was very sadly PTS this morning. It was the best thing for him as he will no longer be in pain, but my friend who occasionally comes on here as horseobsessed is understandably inconsolable.

So just wanted to say RIP little man, you will be missed very much. Its always the good ones that go first. xxx

I am sat at home not quite sure what to do with myself. I can hardly belive that you are no longer here and next time i go to work you won't be there. This has been the hardest decision i have ever had to make and the worst day of my life. Jack ment everything to me and i suppose i just have to hang on to the good times we had together and remember that it was the kindest thing for him as he is no longer in pain.
He is being cremated today and i am having his ashes back and am planning to bury him under a tree at home.

Thank you so much Jack for being such a wonderful boy, you know i will always always love you and you will never be forgotten. Sleep well xxx

So sorry to hear about Jack. At least he is out of pain now and in horsey heaven. I know it's hard, reading this post brought tears to my eyes as I remember the pain of losing my horse. Hugs to you Horseobsessed. RIP Jack.

Jack will now be out of pain but the person left behind will be feeling it. The right decision but a very hard one.
