RIP Murphy

Murphy was PTS this afternoon, he had Ringbone and this past week deteriorated rapidly. I've only had him since January this year after losing Taz. My heart is now broken for a second time. Rest in peace my boys. Life will never be the same.

Terrible after all those months of patient nursing and trying EVERY option to make him better - you can sleep easy knowing there was NOTHING more you could have done.

Thank you Brighteyes, he never really came 100% sound, but today was very painful to watch he really struggled to walk bless him. He will be a very hard horse to replace, he was a sweet gentle boy. I will really miss him.

I understand what you mean. I hate the fact I can never replace my darling Seren, she was unbelievably sweet,honest and kind. It does ease, it was 4weeks last night and although I had a real blub, it gets easier to cope day to day.
