On Friday we had to make that horrible decision :(
We got Abby when I was 6. She was a young dog in a rescue kennels, I dont remember much about the place.
I have lots of lovely memories, which Ill hold close forever.
She was my first agility dog (after dad had ran her a few years so she knew the job) she was cheeky, you'd sit her on the start line tell her "ok" and she'd lay on her back asking for a tummy tickle. Got many a giggle from spectators. She'd also run out of the ring for the food stalls or to my parents if they didnt hide behind tents/cars/people.
She dragged me on my tummy after many a bird. (But I still insisted that I hold the lead )

But she taught me alot, did lots of good agility runs, and was my best friend for many years :(

It feels really weird without her :(
For the first time in about 5 years we are into single figures of dogs :(

She was beautiful, and sounded like a real cheeky character (the best dogs always are). I'm sorry you've lost her :(

So sorry you've lost your dogs - beautiful by the way! what great memories you have of her though - love the image of her dragging you off to the food stalls!

Sweet dreams Abby x

I am very sorry about your dog she was very special and a great character.

Its always so sad when you have had her since a child and she was such a character but you have wonderful happy memories.

Lovely photos and its also very sad about your other dog but what a legacy they have left you.

she is so beautiful the both of them are. i'm very sorry to hear that, i've lost 2 in my life so far and it is heartbreaking. i have 2 now and i would be heart broken if anything happened them. i know it happens to us all sometime, but worst feeling in the world to lose your best friend, there not just an animal.
hugs for you.

:( So, so sorry to hear your news.

Having relatively recently lost a dog, I know only too well that gut-wrenching emptyness that they leave behind. I know it's a very worn out cliche, but time does heal the wounds, and having all those wonderful memories to look back on also help.

RIP, Abby.

If the eyes are the window to the soul, then they were three contented and devoted dogs by the looks of it!

Sorry for the loss of your dear friend xx

She sounds (and looks) like she was a lovely dog, and a lucky one too because it sounds like she had all a dog could wish for - a human or two to love her. RIP Abby. What a hard year you are having RG :(.
