On Friday we had to make that horrible decision 
We got Abby when I was 6. She was a young dog in a rescue kennels, I dont remember much about the place.
I have lots of lovely memories, which Ill hold close forever.
She was my first agility dog (after dad had ran her a few years so she knew the job) she was cheeky, you'd sit her on the start line tell her "ok" and she'd lay on her back asking for a tummy tickle. Got many a giggle from spectators. She'd also run out of the ring for the food stalls or to my parents if they didnt hide behind tents/cars/people.
She dragged me on my tummy after many a bird. (But I still insisted that I hold the lead
)
But she taught me alot, did lots of good agility runs, and was my best friend for many years
It feels really weird without her
For the first time in about 5 years we are into single figures of dogs
We lost both of these this year
