Wrote a post on Wednesday saying my pony Pringle was to be put down today.
This morning I spent hours in the stable crying my eyes out, grooming him, taking cuttings of his tail and basically telling him how much I love him.
Now that he has gone, I feel that a burden has been lifted and a weight has been taking off my heart. I, as well as everyone else, knew that he wanted to go and I just feel happy that I did all I could for him.
He will be waiting for me in heaven.
I have decided to get a job to fund a painting that I want to get done of him, this will give me a visual memory and will help my keep the physical memories strong.
How much do the artists charge on here, as only being 16, I don't really have much money

Thank you everyone for all your kind words, you were the ones that helped me get through this.
RIP Pringle - You will never be forgotten xxx

Well done Emma, I'm glad it went ok, and you can rest easy knowing you did what Pringle needed you to do. Be strong xxx R.I.P Pringle xxx

Have a look at Papa Frita's website (I think it's in her profile). She did exactly this for me and the portrait is just perfect, it is one of my most treasured possessions and feels as if I still have a little part of him with me. I think her prices are exceptionally good value too.

RIP Pringle. You did the very best you could for him, you should be proud.
I agree with poster above, Papafrita did a beautiful drawing of my daughters horse and pony. I can really recommend her.

You are so brave and did the right thing by your man and he will always be there waiting for you at rainbow bridge my sweet.

R.I.P Pringle, gone but never forgotten by your mummy Emma..

Well done Emma for doing the last kind act for him

Oh, so sorry, RIP little man. You have done the best, brave thing for him, I'm sure he knew.
I don't know if this will help, but if you contact this artist he does some beautiful pictures, and I think he's quite reasonably priced compared to some. I am sure you will be able to find someone to do you a lovely portrait to remember Pringle by. xx

Oh, if you mention Equine Market Watch he will give them a donation from his earnings.
