One of my favourite ever horses was the enigmatic "New Seeker" trained by Clive Cox and Paul Cole for Elite and won eight of his 35 starts including the Royal Hunt Cup 2005 and the 2003 Britannia Stakes. He also won the International Handicap in 2003 and 2005.
Retired last year after a fantastic career he died in retirement at Greatwood from a pelvic injury.

I was particularly fond of him as he reminded me so much of Green Green Desert (also by Green Desert and who we have in retirement) in terms of character. In one race he swerved at 90 degrees toward the rail and still managed to win!
I will miss him and so I am sure will the elite members.
